Post Bref: PHP security release of October 2026 names CVE-2026-109618 and CVE-2026-109619. Patched Bref 3 and Bref 2 Lambda layers and Docker images published; Bref 1 not rebuilt (unmaintained, upgrade). Users run composer update bref/bref -W and redeploy, or docker build, pull and redeploy: Then redeploy. That's it for most applications and The fix is in the Zend engine itself, and every layer was rebuilt. quoted from the statement URL. Bref Cloud Laravel apps receive the new layers on their next deploy. PHP 8.1 and older are end of life and receive no fix; upgrade to 8.2 or later. Bref is the runtime behind Craft Cloud (see Craft CMS row).
